Inspired by Aviation and Adventure
The Vanguard San Bruno was born to push boundaries.
In 1911, an aviation pioneer became the first pilot to successfully land an aircraft
on a ship, launching the concept of naval aviation as we now know it.
This remarkable pilot flew his Curtiss pusher biplane
from the Tanforan Racetrack in San Bruno, California and landed on a
platform located on the USS Pennsylvania, an armored cruiser in the San Francisco Bay.
Inspired by aviation and a daring sense of adventure,
the Vanguard San Bruno embodies a refined design and powerful presentation of the automatic movement complications.
Similar to aeronautic propulsion, the natural movement while wearing the timepiece
harnesses kinetic energy and allows the mainspring to automatically wind.
Available with a stainless steel bracelet or a leather band,
the San Bruno offers more than a watch, but an adventure waiting to happen.

Aviation - Inspired Design
Featuring a sunray dial, wrapped in a 45mm stainless steel case, the San Bruno embodies rugged functionality, while paying homage to pioneering pilots.

Quality Materials & Craftsmanship
Crafted with genuine leather straps and stunning 316L stainless steel bracelets, the San Bruno is carefully built to withstand adventure, while delivering refined design and classic style.

Automatic Self-Winding Movement
Engineered with a powerful Miyota 8219 movement, the San Bruno automatically winds the mainspring by using kinetic energy harnessed by the motion of your wrist as you wear the piece.
